In view of the potential for Covid-19 reinfection and the weak immune response and short duration in patients previously infected with Covid-19, many doubts have emerged if the virus is capable of eliciting a robust and durable immune response by the human immune system. So, the major concern is that if vaccines are made of attenuate SARS-Cov-2 viruses, they probably will need multiple boosts to induce a proper immune response and memory. Would this be enough to protect humanity from Covid-19?
