Dear all,
Recently I plan to do some transient transfection for overexpression experiment. As the plasmid of my target gene on Addgene is hard to use (need some subclone) and our group has not too much experience about this. I prefer to directly order some ready-to-use plasmid using lipofection or virus transfection.
I will appreciate a lot if someone can give me any suggestions to choose a professional company. ( I am in Australia.

Check if there is any cDNA/ORF product availablefor your gene in a mammalian expression vector.

I propose you using pCDH vector, if the size of your over-expressed gene is less that 1.5 kb. It contains both GFP (as reporter) and puromycin (for selection of the transfected cells). It is also easy to use and it can be used as a lentivector, if you combine Pax and pMD and PAX vectors with it. Good luck
