You probably are searching in the wrong genome build. The human genome is updated with the last update being GRCh38 (I think from Decemeber 2013). This is a good thing, however, position are not stable and coordinates of genes (and other annotations) change between these large builds. It seems the position you are looknig for is in GRCh37/hg19 genome build, which is the genome build before the latest one.

So:

TP53 (GRCh37): chr17:7,571,720-7,590,868 (depending on the specific transcript)

TP53 (GRCh38): chr17:7,668,402-7,687,550

Exactly. The apparent discrepancy could be due to different versions of Human Genome that you use.
