I attempted to prepare CuS nanomaterials using microemulsion method. I used tween20 as the surfactant. But found it is very difficult to remove the surfactant from microemulsion. How can we remove surfactants from reaction mixture without affecting the nanomaterials?

You can't.
You have to keep the surfactant there to preserve the stability of the emulsion. Remove it and you destroy the system...The surfactant bridges the organic and aqueous phases and you can't have an emulsion without it. You may as well ask 'How do I dry my emulsion?'...
@ Alan F Rawle, thanks for correction of my question. I want to separate the nanomaterials from microemulsion?. I tried to separate the CuS by centrifugation but it is not getting sedimented. I used glycerol as the polar phase and phenol as non polar phase. Tween 20 was the surfactant.

Typically, inverse microemulsions are used to produce nanoparticles. Water droplets are distributed in hydrocarbons. I doubt that glycerol and phenol form a microemulsion. Apparently phenol dissolved in glycerol and you got a gel with Tween. Nanoparticles were synthesized in this gel. Are you sure they are nano? It is known that flotation collectors such as fatty acids and long-chain aliphatic amines under certain pH are non-ionic in nature. The adsorption isotherm of non-ionic collectors is reversible with usually small hysteresis.
It is usually expected, the presence of Tween 20 surfactant effectively reduces the initial as well as final IFT of the n-hexane–water system. However, inclusion of NPs, irrespective of charge, alters the efficacy of Tween 20 surfactant in further reducing the IFT. To retarding efficiency of NPs on Tween 20 surfactant, the surface excess concentration of surfactants in the presence of 0.1 weight% of different NPs can be inspected along with apparent diffusion coefficients (Da). It is seen that the surface excess of surfactants at the interface decreases in the presence of NPs. Also increasing the concentration of Tween 20 surfactant increases the Da, leading to a higher adsorption rate.
