Difference between 10mM vs 50mM Tricine in 32P labelled gamma ATP?

Hey guys

We've just changed supplier for 32P labelled gamma ATP. Our previous supplier used to deliver in 50mM Tricine pH 7.6 but our new supplier only does 10mM Tricine pH 7.6.

The activity and concentration is the same for both suppliers (3000Ci/mmol and 10MCi/ml respectively).

Would I have to adjust my protocol (32P labelling of oligonucleotides) because of the difference in buffer or does it not matter since I have the same activity and concentration?

The volume of 32P used in the reaction is small so either buffer concentration will be small compared to the 10X buffer used in the kinase reaction. I would expect it to work without modification of the methodology
