Denatured Ethanol: To use or not to use?

I wonder if anyone knows specific ethanol denaturants that are particularly undesirable for (arthropod) sample preservation for DNA analysis. A cursory web search I made showed that one should avoid 'Denatured Ethanol'. But denaturants include Methanol and Isopropanol, themselves potentially useful for arthropod tissue preservation for eventual DNA analysis. Please help.
