BV421 seems to be very good fluorophore to use with UV laser – bright and no spills, but not too many antibody conjugates available. In my experimental set up I cannot use BV421 on a secondary Ab at this point. It would be very appreciated if someone could share the knowledge of coupling to BV421 - difficulty level, protocols, kits, etc.
As an alternative you could considering conjugating your antibody to Pacific blue fluorophore instead, it has the same excitation as BV421 but does have different spillover characteristics.

Today, many companies are offering very good fluorescence dyes. Therefore, you have plenty of options, also from companies, which have a more open information policy. BTW: The dye is often not the most critical point in your experiment, if you do not have a very specific problem.
