there are two edition I already have and used in my paper (2000) 5th edition and 2007 6th edition.

You are referring to in-text referencing.
In your text body, you do not have to give the edition number as the editions are fully characterised by their year of publication. It takes more than a year to generate a new edition! So there is no possibility of confusion. So your in-text references will simply appear as:
(Cohen, Manion, and Morrison 2000: 20) or
(Cohen, Manion, and Morrison 2007: 20).
