Dear all,
I am doing my thesis and i face some problems because it is the first time i try to do GMM.My panel data include 33 areas and 6 time periods. I have a problem with the number of instruments as it is always larger than the number of groups (number of instruments=16 and number of groups=4). So the number of groups falls from 33 to 4 and i can not reduce any more the number of instruments. Is there any way i could prevent this fall?
