Dear Ka and Beatrice,

I am going to read the link highlighted by Great Beatrice .

The question Ka write is totally non-sense in my experience......Is iron deficiency anemia a potential risk factor or trenaxamic acid is ?

Now I read scientific article highlighted by Beatrice and then I say....... 

Antifibrinolytic agents may be linked to VTE, however,  from clinical point of view,  I would exclude more important and prevalent risk factors such as hereditary thrombophilia, smoking, oral contraceptives etc.

Women after severe hemorrhages are at risk of thrombosis.  I suppose the hemorrhage causes an unbalance in clotting factors.  This could be true for heavy menstruation as well.

This could be true if there is heavy bleeding.
