Hi everyone!

I ask you how you would proceed in the case in which, for a mediation analysis, all considered variables (X, M, Y) are continuous while a control variable to test is categorical (not dichotomous).

I'd be especially interested in procedures which interest SPSS (Process Macro)/AMOS as used tool, but open also to other instruments.

I know it is possible to reduce to dichotomous variables (loosing information) other categorical variables, but I'd have pleasure especially if you may suggest me other ways to compute this operation.
