I have cloned my gene downstream of the NusA tag using BamHI and HindIII as my restriction sites. Now that my protein is expressing, I would like to cleave this tag and purify the protein to obtain its native form. How do I cleave it? Which protease do I use to get native form of my protein? I have included the vector map for your convenience:

pET43, as most pET vectors, has a Thrombin cleavage site. It also says so in the vector map you attached.
