I was recently told at a PCR based workshop that DDCT-PCR data should always be log transformed to the ^2 or ^10 as it allows a normal distribution for your results and allows you to use more robust tests, i.e. non-parametric tests. Does anyone know a paper that discusses this further.
Hello, for better and easy you should perform all statistical analyses using log-transformed values.
