Im currently working on synthesis of Chitosan coated ZnO nanoparticles. I have tried coating it with various chitosan concentrations and all concentration ranging from 1% to 0.1% are able to coat it. But the issues is that while resuspension they do not get evenly dispersed even after sonication and remains suspended and thus tends to settle down faster and thus UV can not be carried out. Due to insolubility issue concentration in solution becomes difficult to estimate.
try ZnO nanoparticles only , it should dissolve in few seconds , or you can heat the coated nanoparticles to 50 c , it will help dissolution

hello sir, can you please tell me about the color of chitosan capped zinc oxide nano particles? do they still remain creamy white in color or does there color tends to change after capping?
