I am working with yeast isolates. I need to check the antibiotic susceptibility of these isolates using different antibiotics. Is it recommended to used Mueller Hinton agar or can i use YPD agar?
of course, you can use the medium Mueller Hinton.

You can use very simple media such as Sabouraud dextrose agar,Pal sunflower seed medium or APRM agar for isolation of yeasts, and also drug sensitivity by disc diffusion test.The later two media are developed by us in 1980 and 2015,respectively.You can download from Research Gate.We have done extensive work on both the fungal media.
Mueller Hinton +2 % glucose (2 gram per 100 ml Mueller Hinton) is best for testing susceptibility of yeast

Yes you can use Mueller Hinton agar. However, supplementing with 2%glucose produces better results.
