Can you do immunofluorescence on slides that have already been stained by Diff-Quik?

Slides of BALF were stained with Diff-Quik. Can we stain the same slides for immunofluorescence?

Dear Katie,

in our experience (IHC after Diff-Quik staining of blood smears of dogs, cats, cows, horses etc.) immunofluorescence does not work well.
