Some methods described how we can analyze the anti hematin formation from compounds isolated from fungal endophytes. But can we directly add the beta-hematin to the culture so the fungi start synthesize new compounds against it?

Instead of adding the same compound try the precursor compound or base compound required for the synthesis. You can also try some elicitors or if it is a stress compound induce stress.
