Depending on the essence of the cause and consequence relation, management may face with four sorts of context, which are: simple, complicated, complex and chaotic. That means that the management has to be capable always to recognize the actual context and to respond in accordance to that recognition. In that sense, there is a need of observing the organisation as a complex adaptive system, which actually is a dynamic equilibrium between order and chaos.

By understanding complexity as a way of thinking about the world in general, it is possible to improve the probability of predictability remarkably, which is the fundament of making the best possible decisions in the management process.

Except this, it is indicated that the application of the chaos and complexity theory to the management of the organizations, requires different way of thinking and working in comparison to the previous experience of management. Connecting the chaos and comlexity theory and quality -which is, being of the three main indicators of the business success (the other two are productivity and costs) the closest to human nature, can offer new perspectives to the management regarding the more successful management of the organizations.

Can theory and QMS (Quality Management System) practice be improved by the chaos and complexity theory implementation ?
