It's missing BZLF2 which is needs for entry to B cells; BALF2 is truncated and is needed to get full length viral DNA production... So I don't think you could get a a productive infection in a living host. You might get it to superinfect is you used an intact EBV strain at the same time, to supply the missing gene products.
