Dear Experts,
I have submitted a manuscript to an Elsevier journal. In my profile, under the section of references of my manuscript, I see “Unresolved references”, “unknown” and not “linked”. I have highlighted it in the attached screenshot.
Is it a major problem? Will it affect the acceptance chance? How I avoid this problem?

This might not influence the Editor's decision. However, you can easily resolve the problem you're facing by including DOIs of the documents in your reference manager.

I searched for this question and finally i came to know that it is a technical issue of the journal's website. So author doesn't need to do anything to solve it.

In my opinion, it is also important to follow the bibliography style of the intended journal in order to avoid many unresolved references or not linked references. For example, if you are submitting your manuscript to the Int'l Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, you can download the specific bibliography style of that journal from Mendeley.
