We have a multichannel pipette in the microbiology lab that has been used against various pathogenic bacteria. If we want to use it for cell culture, can it be sterilised? If yes, what are the procedures for doing so?

It is better don't do.
Some of them are autoclaveable. If not contact with factory for use chemical agents such bleach.

Some pipettes can be autoclave, check the instruction manual for this if u dont have it (manual) then google it with brand name and model, another way if u could open the pipette by removing all parts then put it in laminar hood with UV.

I'd suggest you not to. It is better to keep a separate set of pipettes for tissue culture. We used to do it in our lab like that. Once your tissue culture lab is contaminated, it is a headache...so avoid it at all costs.
We do have different sets, there is one extra in the micro lab which is not in extensive use anymore. But looks like the process is very complicated. Thank you for the responses.
If it is autoclaveable, why not? But it is always best to have another pippete dedicated to cell culture or other special use that require asepsis.
better not to use..... but still if u want than u can wrap your pipettement with aluminium foil and autoclave, provided it is an autoclaveable one

Don't waste your time and materials.
Cell culture is so important you nee to reduce problems. Although Abdulhadi Albaser said, you would autoclave your pipettes but I personally do not prefer to use microbiology pipettes in cell culturing.

It is not recommended to use the same set of micropipets, you can use only if they are autoclaveable.
Done with this I think. Autoclave if they are autoclavable otherwise get a new set.
No. you cannot use Microbiology pipette for cell line studies. as the microbes are surrounded throughout the environment it may contaminate the cells. The level 1 laminar air flow is used for microbial activity but whereas for cell line facility level 3 with safety measures are used. so to avoid contamination it is safer to use different pipette
It is posible but depends on the level of aseptic u carried out in ur lab.
