Metaohor agarose can separate size differences of 2% in the range 200-800 bases. It is fine for tri and tetranucleotide repeats but cannot distinguish 1 bp differences like the old sequencing acrylamide gels used to. If you indicate the total size and size difference that you are trying to separate it will be easier to advise
