The molecules used in Prophylaxis are very protein bound and longer life. This means that for a short while if treatment is interrupted, it can be safely restarted without any loss of potency
I completely agree with the opinion of the professor Chuck A Arize. in addition according to the protocol of the World Health Organization, the use of Prophylaxis in different regions is different.
It is good to simply start on treatment once one has stopped taking prophylaxis drug and still tested positive for malaria.
