Unlike conventional PCR, real-time PCR primers (& probes for TaqMan) are designed to produce small-size DNA fragments (80-120bp). Normally, you can use them with an adequate thermoprofile.

You MIGHT be able to use the same primers for qPCR in normal end-point PCR.
But you have to know something about how the primers were designed & what you're using for your template.
If your primers were design to span an intron/intron splice junction, then they will NOT work on genomic DNA.
Also, qPCR primers generally amplify a very small product, ~100 bp or so. Most folks prefer a larger product so it's easier to see on an agarose gel.
Primers are super cheap, design ones that you need for your project.
