My antibody for immunoprecipitation is mouse IgA subtype, therefore I thought I should use normal mouse IgA instead of widespread IgG for my IP control.
But I have not yet found any articles using IgA as a control.
I'm wondering if it's okay to use IgA for my IP control.
Has anyone used IgA as an IP control before?

I have personally never used IgA antibody as a control. However, if you're confident that your primary was raised as a IgA, then it would make sense to use a general IgA as the control for ChIP. Just make sure you use the correct beads in order for the IgA subtype antibody to bind.
I would also recommend using an Input (all chromatin available for pull down) in addition to using the IgA control. Hope that helps.
Some of my colleages use IgA als control and it works very well.
