Hi,

There are 2 types of centrifuge in our lab, the normal centrifuge and the ultra centrifuge. I would like to use both of them to produce faster results for my research. However, it feels as though the normal centrifuge will not be able to equal the g-force produced by the ultra-centrifuge.

I would then like to ask, can I prolong the rpm time of the normal centrifuge to equal the g-force made by an ultra-centrifuge in a given time? (Question 1)

(Question 2) I noticed that running my sample on two different centrifuge with varied g-force still produces the same extract consistency and quality. Is this ethical in research or should I only stick to one g-force measure? If this is ethical, how do I write about this finding in my methods of research?

Thanks!
