I want to model a simple hyperelastic material to be moved when I apply a pressure on its face. But, the model does not move at all. It seems that the force does not influence other elements that are not in direct contact with force. I am not sure why this happened?
Yes, you can model hyperelastic material in Abaqus/Explicit.
You have to give some more information with regards to your model. What type of analysis are you running? If you are running an explicit dynamic analysis make sure your time-step is small. An easy way to determine the time step is to first perform linear vibration analysis and determine its modal frequencies. Then choose time step size smaller than the modal time periods.
Thanks Amar, I found the reason for the error. Previously, I used Mooney model but I changed it to 3-order Ogden model which gave me accurate result.
