From pulmonary extravasation assay , cancer cells with PGC-1a silenced were injected into tail of nude mice to observe the microevironment metastasis . I have question that PGC-1a can be supplied by the mouse and reduce the effect of silence on the cancer cell lines.

From your description I guess you are planing to study the PGC-1a in cancer cell in a xenograft model so you transplant genetically modified cancer cells into the mice. So is your concern is if Pgc-1a from mice will enter the delivered cancer cells to compromise the silence? If so, I believe not.
