Hi to everyone. Recently I received skin tissues stored in 70% ethanol upon fixation in 10% NBF that would need to be processed for paraffin embedding. The samples have been sent in dry ice, therefore they arrived completely frozen...I've put the samples at 4°C to let them thaw but I am concerned about their integrity now since I should proceed with the dehydration and paraffin embedding steps for IHC staining... does anyone know if the freezing step in that condition could affect the tissues and the subsequent analysis? Thank you very much!
