I want to culture Bacillus subtilis with Streptococcus agalactiae (from fish source) together. can the two bacterial species survive together in vitro? and what media would be best suited for the growth and survival of both bacteria?
Secondly, kindly also suggest media for the co-culture of Streptococcus agalactiae with E. coli.

Blood agar is an enriched, bacterial growth medium. Fastidious organisms, such as streptococci, do not grow well on ordinary growth media. Blood agar is a type of growth medium (trypticase soy agar enriched with 5% sheep blood) that encourages the growth of bacteria, such as streptococci, that otherwise wouldn’t grow.

I think there is no problem. You can use Blood agar for both isolations.
