Good morning, I plan to introduce the expression of a human glutamate dehydrogenase (GDH) mutant (the most frequent mutation associated with epilepsy and hyperinsulinism in human). For that an adenovirus construct for the delivery of transgene was produced before my arrival in the lab. The problem I have is that the GDH mutant don’t have any flag or is not coupled to GFP, the vector is not bicistronic too. Consequently if I injecte the adenovirus by stereotaxy I will not see the injection site. Do you think I can co-infuse an adenovirus mito-RFP to identify where I injecte the adenovirus GDH? Do you know if astrocytes and neurons can be simultaneously infected by 2 adenovirus in vitro and in vivo, or if the cells develop defensive mechanisms?
