Santa Cruz Biotechnology discontinued polyclonal antibodies recently. We bought their recommended antibody (F-7 monoclonal) but we got no signal using our immunofluorescence protocol as before. In our tests we used the old antibody to be sure that there was no problem with our samples.

I'd recommend doing a search on BenchSci (https://www.benchsci.com)
There's a couple published antibodies by CST that you can try.

If you're still looking for an sc-48 replacement, I'd give Abcam's anti-FosB antibody (ab184938) a try! I've used it with Ni-DAB IHC --- virtually no background with reliable staining at 1:3000.
