you can model the coil taking advantage of the axisymmetry. The modeling is done in 2D. You have to model only a half of the geometry.

Hello, I guess that the main problem is that in perfect conductor do not allow magnetic field to get through It. You can try to assign a very low relative permeability to the conductor material. For example 0.001. There could be some convergence problems, but that you will find out be trying.
