I have received XRD results of Graphite, GO and Graphene sample.
I got peak of highest intensity at 26degree in graphite sample.
The intensity of peak at 26deg is reduced and other peak with small intensity is observed at almost 13deg in Graphene Oxide sample.
The intensity is almost completely finished and whole line become straight in Graphene sample.

lattice spacing of GO is higher than graphite, because of the functional groups

Any proof to back up your claim? That mono layer graphene do not have peak in the XRD pattern.
I need a clarification from Qaiser Ali's observation of GO XRD spectra. The XRD spectra I commonly saw online is the one with a peak at around 10. But Qaiser Ali's GO peak is coming at 26. Please is there anyone here with idea and references of GO with peak at 26 degree. I will be glad to your input.
It seems the xrd Qaiser associate with GO is not for GO but for graphite
