I have hard time finding good pairs of mouse and rabbit antibodies for total and phospho proteins for florescence WB application. Mouse anti MEK 2352 and rabbit anti p-MEK 9121 from CST are an example for good pair. Thanks
You could try a company like ECM Biosciences to look for antibodies. They specialize in phospho-specificity.
One way is to use the antibody of interest with its respective anti Phospho antibody in which case you already have the best supplier in the field of such antibody pairs, CST. Alternatively, as i have done, i use anti GAPDH, Anti Beta actin or anti Alpha Actin, which can all be purchased from Sigma, raised in either mouse or Rabbit. These can be used as loading controls and you use a Anti Phos antibody of interest. This of corse will not be suitable if you anticipate effects on the un-phoshporylated expression of the protein. I find this to work fine for short drug exposures.
