Firstly, I would like to confirm you that that the two notations appear to be OK! NatureWorks has the grades of PLA called Ingeo™ Biopolymer 2003D (https://www.natureworksllc.com/~/media/Technical_Resources/Technical_Data_Sheets/TechnicalDataSheet_2003D_FFP-FSW_pdf.pdf) and Ingeo biopolymer 3251D (https://www.natureworksllc.com/~/media/Files/NatureWorks/Technical-Documents/Technical-Data-Sheets/TechnicalDataSheet_3251D_injection-molding_pdf.pdf) .

PLA “2003D” is recommended for extrusion (high molecular weights, high melt viscosity), whereas PLA “3251D” is designed for injection molding applications (high MFR, please compare the two technical sheets, “3251D” is characterized by lower molecular weights than 2003D).

Please take in consideration that are some differences regarding their optical purity (D-isomer content), whereas by following the information regarding their molecular weights (SEC/GPC) you will find important differences between the results of different laboratories. Consequently, function of your goals, I recommend following the indication of the supplier (MFR, relative viscosity, etc.).
