I have sent you an email with how I prepared NAC for use in cell culture. I prepared it only in cell culture medium. 

N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC)

FW 163.2

Prep [250 mM] NAC for experimental use

1.       Weigh 1 gram and dissolve in 22 ml of your choice media.

2.       pH to approximately 7.3 (using 4N NaOH)

3.       QS with media to have 25 ml total

4.       Re-sterilize media using syringe filter.

To use NAC at [5 mM], use 98 ml of media and add 2 ml of [250 mM] NAC.

To use NAC at [10 mM], use 96 ml of media and add 4 ml of [250 mM] NAC.

How do you store the solution and for how long?

NAC solution can be stored at -20 ᵒC.
