I am working on grass species and want to perform cell fractionation experiment to know amount of metal accumulated.I have referred some publications where they have taken leaf lamina for cell fractionation , but in my case as area of grass leaf is very small so what should be done ? Whether I Should take whole leaf ?
Need valuable suggestion.

Hi there. Sorry I have no experience with grasses, but do you already have antibodies for positive controls of the different cell fractions? What I mean is, are you testing somehow the fractions to make sure they are what you expect? Just a detail for you to have in mind in parallel while you optimise the fractionation protocol. Cheers
