95 y/o male, past medical history of melanoma, presents with 3 hyperpigmented lesions on the chest. Please find attached the macro and dermoscopic pictures.
Are they simply seborrheic keratoses? Is any of them suspicious for melanoma? (particularly that at 11:00 location).
I would recommend laser excision.
I have a collegue with wide experience of treatment of such lesions, with no side effects.
Dear Ana, you should try to get more informative videodermoscopic pictures with both polarized and not polarized light. In these cases you get both superficial and deep features of the three lesions. Finally we also should consider that atypical seborrheic keratoses could mimick dermoscopic clues of both melanocytic (Spitz tumours) and epithelial neoplasms. Sincerely, Carlo.

Dear Carlo, I tried my best when taking the dermoscopic pictures. However, the lesions were raised and very close to each other, I'm sorry about that...
Feedback: I removed them surgically last week, and the biopsy confirmed seborrheic keratoses in all of them.

In our studies we have observed that seborrheic keratoses are shining in UV light (the intensity is higher if compared with the surrounding skin ). Maybe this feature can help with additional information in some cases?
