In your opinion, as a researcher do you think that you have access to sufficient facilities , resources and conducive environment for effective research work.
For effective research contribution, researchers need access to required facilities, funding support, conducive environment for research work. Continuous encouragement and motivation is also necessary. Timely recognition and rewards also add impetus to research work.
Scientific communication can always be improved; much more resources should be invested to bring talented and motivated researchers together, for science and life. I would strongly suggest the establishment of 'global research communities' for innovation and creativity.
Definitely yes. Ecosystem Analysis Laboratory (EAL) of the Department of Botany, BHU, India is one of the best laboratory for ecological research in India. All research facilities are available here for conducting research work.
Thank God. Very glad that my dear colleagues in other country have enough facility and are satisfied by the good and proper atmosphere. Wish you the best and hope all of other friends find suitable facilities for research works.
Yes. CIMR is a part of Manipal Academy of Higher Education(MAHE) .MAHE haiving the status of Institute of eninence in India. All research facilities are available here for conducting research work under one roof.
But In my opinion laboratory facilities need still to be improved to get real productive and sustainable research, especially in rural and semi urban places.
I'm very happy for you, dear prof. Arvind Singh and I wish you every success in your scientific research!
I will say as my dear friend Parisa: thank God that my colleagues in other countries have wonderful laboratories. We in Ukraine carry out research "on the fingers"
There are, of course, numerous challenges to conducting scientific research in developing countries, ranging from limited material and financial resources to in-adequate infrastructures. In most low-income countries, research is a luxury owing to economic constraints, and many scientists hold several other jobs. The lack of scientific careers, institutional support and collaboration within the local authorities aggravates the problem.
However, from my point of view, there are numerous talented researchers in developing countries who are working hard to solve problems in a scientific way...
Thanks a lot dear Dr. Ashok for sharing this valuable discussion ,
Everything we do and we want to reach the goal needs to fatigue and bear the difficulties we may face, but in terms of research possible we find some trouble in what you said, but at this time, which is characterized by the presence of the Internet and communication and openness of cultures, these facilities reduce the trouble and facilitate the subject to a large extent, we are in the era of technology and the summit of development.
Dear Prof Ashok Pundir, I am in Africa and the level of working conditions for researchers here is not satisfactory. To carry out a quality research that will match up with what is obtainable in other regions, we spend a lot: importation of reagent, sending out samples to foreign land for analysis, and so. The condition here is far below average.
I switched my area of research from conventional to Green technology related with nature and decided to protect nature for betterment of society. I have sufficient research space as entire globe is my laboratory
full of scarcity about the research felicities and all in the reputed institutions and all, lot of problems for the research scholars and research associates and all in the accommodation, financial as well equipment which is needed for the workout an all.
Thanks lot Dr Salwan, Dr Banothu, Dr Ata, Dr Uche, Dr Manar, Dr Abubakar, Dr Wajid, Dr Bandi, Dr Vadim, Dr Noua for sharing your valuable thoughts and contribution.
I have limited resources, facilities funding and condusive environment for research. However, as a passionate researcher wanting to transform societies with my innovative ideas, I always improvise, sacrifice and make scientific breakthroughs a reality with these limited research facilities. I know it is always worth it to wind the wheels of research in effecting positive and sustainable social change with my own, hard-earned resources.
I think it depends on the mission of the higher education institution. Some emphasize teaching as their primary mission (therefore lacking substantial research facilities and resources; monies are expended more toward service and teaching) whereas others are geared toward purely research-oriented missions.
You have a very good question. We don't have all require facility to conduct experiments so we face many problem in research although have more interest in it.
That is a very good question, in my case in Egypt as an independent researcher, and since there is a huge lake of fund toward the academic research and there is hardly any no facility provided by cairo university, I don't think I would have progressed a single step without the conductive personal efforts from my professors or the researchers in researchgate.
IMHO, the answer is that facilities & resources is currently very unhealthy environment for research work in Egypt.
In this part of the world, people in the public sector settings are complaining not be an independent researcher...passion and necessity are key driver in my country.
