At Master's level, different type of teaching pedagogy or mix of them are used by Professors in various courses e.g. Power Point presentation, Case Study, Practicals, field visits, Black board, videos etc.

It is my pedagogical method to combine profoundly written e-learning-courses (including MC and a final essay) with follow-up research workshops or roundtables (assembly pedagogics); however, my cooperation is mainly with professional colleges for the working adult.

It can be a combination of various methods. Nothing wrong with the blackboard approach. If you give out papers for students to read, then a discussion of paper's content and conclusions where every student contributes in class is one way. Create a project, one topic for each student and during the second half of the semster have each student complete the project and make a presentation. This has been effective with many science subjects including geography.

Multimodal pedagogy is preferred

Nowadays PowerPoint is an educational tool for teaching and delivering materials in classes.However, in my opinion, use of traditional blackboard is more effective at all level of teaching.

Theoretical method through Maker-board and back up with practical/field trip as I am in Chemistry.

Depending on the type of study, some disciplines suffice with the theoretical aspect of the traditional method of "lecture", while others should have a more practical aspect where direct application and laboratory work such as medicine, engineering and applied sciences

Since Master's students are senior so it is assumed that they are responsible enough to study their own. Yet from the teachers end there should be some techniques so that they are effective learners. So, a faculty should give more assignments, home works, case studies, relevant research papers study and presentation on their findings and observations, building small project and preparing report on it etc. to make learning effective and interesting to the learners. Concerned course teacher will decide how many of these components should be used for his/her course. At the same time, teacher's ability to motivate the students to do these works is an important factor for it

I think that master's studies represent a lot of time for self-study. I give the masters a plan and to each item of the plan I recommend textbooks and scientific works of certain scientists who have achieved some result in this scientific field. Next, I suggest that they consider what difficulties have not yet been resolved in this problem. They think and express their opinion. Further in the class we talk and look for possible solutions. When we discuss the problem, we use the traditional blackboards. I and the Masters do not prepare a presentation. Sometimes they can bring interesting scientific facts, printing them out simply on paper.

For bachelors, it is convenient to use the presentation in the PowerPoint

Well from ear of self study by various ancient scholars to present era of Artificial intelligence we several phases of development in teaching methodology. In maters level as mentioned by many students are mature enough to study their own but require guidance for development of analytical thought process for anything they study. critical thinking, logical conclusions and curiosity for new approach need to be generated by assigning current topics in the subject, presentations, round table discussions and future prospects. Methods classroom all are suitable from blackboard to power point but PowerPoint not to read the sentences rather for illustrations, figure, graphs, photographs or flowcharts etc. which little time consuming in describing in blackboards. Though blackboard teaching brings more confidence in teacher and describe as per flow of thoughts from minds.

Black board study is and was always the BEST.

I think sticking to one type of pedagogical practice is not effective. We need to use a variety of pedagogies, Power Point presentation, Case Study, Practicals, field visits, Black board etc., when teaching at any level.

To fulfill learners' various learning styles and strategies, a blended one is the best if there is a kind of needs analysis conducted in the specific context.

At the master's level, the teachers should make an initial critical needs analysis of the targeted class. Notably, the objectives of the course are often defined and specified from the top by education experts and policy makers. However, the learners have their own special wants and desires which must be fulfilled. Consequently, critical needs analysis can provide the teacher with vital information regarding the learners' preferences. Choosing the pedagogical techniques can be effective only after performing a critical needs analysis. Subsequently, we should more bank on those methods that provide the ground for learners' engagement in the learning tasks and cater to learners' self regulated learning.

Generally, I prefer mixed teaching pedagogy for M. Tech.students that seems to be more effective.

I'd say andragogy would be much more relevant for master's students. Typically, I allow the graduate students to present their research while their peers critique their work. I also incorporate class debates in which the students both moderate and argue points, and I interject when necessary to clarify a point. At the graduate level, I believe students are far more independent than would be seen among undergraduate classes, and that grad students should have a strong classroom influence and participation level.

I strongly believe that the first thing to consider is the context and discipline. Usually, master´s candidates are more aware and enthusiastic about their studies, but nonetheless they are students and they want to look up at their professors. In my teaching, I combine lectures, ppt, games, but essentially a lot of discussion, which I think enrichess any discipline

In general, Master's studies require the integrated work of all teachers who teach the curricular , the subjects must be fully aligned with the work of culmination of studies, say thesis or final work. For this it is essential to adopt the investigative approach from the first contact with the student.

In my opinion the use of visual media is very important because it allows us to pay a little more attention to the subject that was studied. Unplanned discussions also feed the interest and curiosity of the students.

Post Graduate study forward higher education system and carried intrinsic value. Teaching pedagogy may ensure research temper as learning of knowledge of a subject should forward society at large. Implicit purpose of higher education is betterment of society with scientific observation meeting all global and local requirements.

Teaching for Masters students is a different way of dealing because they are guided to be leaders, elite and nucleus to be professors at the university and it is possible to use modern and innovative methods during the teaching lectures.

I am currently enrolled as a student in a Master's Degree program, at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA USA. I am in a distance learning program (online) I LOVE my courses and professors. We use a mixed methodology through BlackBoard Learn. Each professor provides specific content of each subject. There are textbook readings, videos, research from journal articles, powerpoints, prezi, pdf. file readings Ted Talks, autobiographical books of people with varying needs, and many other forms of presenting the material to students. Some require classroom observations, working one on one with a student and collecting different types of data. We also have case studies to review.

The methods of presenting material are endless. Our professor's enable us to learn through a variety of methods, we study different perspectives to subject content. I am in a program where I have an individually designed Master of Education in Autism Spectrum Disorders. This part of my program was a collaboration between Lesley Professors, ASD advocates and more importantly Autistic Self-Advocates in the Adult autism community. Where shared experiences of challenges help us understand the diverse neurological challenges in varying ability levels of people who live with autism. By learning what they have been through, how they have been treated in school settings help teachers understand the intensity of the need for Inclusion Education, Universal Design for learning and how develop a deeper empathy toward helping our own future students succeed in the classroom.

Since peer review and peer collaboration are such an important aspect of any Master's program, we use our Discussion board to post our reviews of materials and have discussions with classmates about content and relatable experiences in the field. Each class usually requires some type of Group assignment. Through Blackboard Groups, we can access tools like group wikis, file sharing and group discussion board to help prepare and plan a group project. Then in small groups we work together to prepare our own PowerPoint or Prezi with collaborative communication on our own and develop a group presentation of the assignment. Then after we submit it to the professor, who will in turn make each groups presentation available for everyone to review and discuss. I am enjoying my educational experience and learning more than I ever imagined.
