Artistic skills are generally God given, how could such skills be acquired?

Most of us (if not all) come in the world with many qualities in hidden or better say at sleeping condition among us.
With the assistence of surrounding environment and our own efforts, we can express some of them among us.
Those people try earnestly to express his/ her inner qualities, they can do it. They get result as per their efforts. These results may not be economical or such like things everytime.
Those do not take effots to express the hidden qualities and run by greed and jealousy, actually walk downwards in life.
They call it it in different names, as bad luck, God did not gave them brain, all the people are cheating them etc. for their condition, but I do not think it right.
I trust this.
Curious minds and desires help compensate for the lack of talent.
by having a public of worshippers - (as every God has).
Without followers - no believe - no skills - no artists.
Acquire followers - and you got it all!
Your question is interesting as it points to a paradox and two preconceptions:
- Artistic skills are innate and bestowed on men as some form of blessing. This was a moot point in the Antique world. Plato, for instance, thought that artists, on the whole, were a plague for society. At best, good-for-nothings ...
- If, on the contrary, they are not innate, but acquired, then it stands to reason that talent has nothing to do with supernatural gifts or spiritual election. It all comes down to stating that with some practice, anybody can become an artist, as Marcel Duchamp would say.
- Now, a third option is to consider artistic talent as both a gift and a sign of perseverance and patience.

Strong determination, continuous practice and believing in you will lead to success in anything not just artistic skills.

Every individual is endowed with a specific skill or talent & the individual should become aware of it & develop it by practice . If he takes this as his career , he would be recognized as a skilled person & become highly successful . The combination of individual skill + practice is the secret to success .

we believe in the artists we believe in, because we believe in them.
If we believe in them they have skills
Because we believe in them, these skills must be innate
Otherwise it would not be necessary to believe.

Not every social culture does tolerate artistic talent; the trend to oppress artistic talent by economic compulsion is extremely strong. Some countries (e.g. Italy) had special historical periods, where such talented artists could florish by the marriage of commerce and culture. Concerning acquiring talent, the non-talented runner has to train much more than the gifted one, especially related to running techniques. One chance of the coming exponential age is that we could all express our artistic talent, if we will create an economic framework for this activity ;the artistic talent in every human being is a G-d given spark, which requires an initial energetic moment.

Now, there are certain people who have passion to drive what they like (obsessively ) , who do not falter at any cost - this may be god's work...
Life is a gift (As I always say) how we make it fruitful is left to us.
Look at music artists they do drugs die young !!!!!
So talent is all about nurture starting from parents or may be only us ...
Agree with Shibabrata Pattanayak. Artistic skills are as you say ,inborn, but it is true to say that people can acquire such skills by desire ,challenge and training .

Personally I think artistic skills are both nature (born with it) & nurture (can be acquired through different environments, experience, learning, practicing, new / revised inspiration etc.). Also think this artistic skills topic is similar to leadership topic i.e. some believe leaders are born with it or some believe it can be acquired or mixture of both.
Artistic skill is a natural gift with generally we have inheritance at the time of arrival . However this may not be the true at every time it may certainly with our zeal ,hard work practice we may achieve the skills when we talk regarding the artistic skill it is applicable for every natural aptitude just as Drawing,Painting , Music, instruments , Literature ,writing skill of poems, &such other traits if we have not received as a gift of our creator but we have zeal faith , will power , concentration , we may certainly achieve our interest in the artistic talents .
This is my personal opinion
I believe that artists are born with that gift. There are people who have the gift and did not explode at an early age, and that is why they are not famous artists today.

The exhibition of artistic skills come naturally for some people while many others train hard for such skills. In all these scenarios, we say 'practice make one perfect'. So, all artistic skills must be honed and developed otherwise it ceases to mature. Keep learning, practicing, charting a new path in any artistic field you adopt.
As for followers, striving for originally (creatively different and genius pieces) builds the brand of an artist and draws the crowd to his or her artistic marvels.
