It depends on which perspective you take. There is a diversity of perspectives and approaches to study your questions, but generally, women are observed to be more focused on quality than quantity. This has tremendous implications for their career progression in current form of academia worldwide.

It is not correct to look for differences between men and women in research. In science it all depends on scientific ideas, creativity, interpretation of results, a lot of work, a lot of dedication is required. Therefore, research teams are created depending on the competences and the differences between men and women are not sought. The key is competence in a given problem!

Several factors affect scientific research productivity, innovation and creativity. Among the most important factors when it comes to the comparison between women and men productivity in research and innovation relates to women family responsibilities and commitments and cultural restrictions. If given equal opportunities, resources and chances, women could be as productive as men.

"differences between men and women in research:"; An interesting statement, we separate it into quality and quantity research out put by either gender. Cultural factors and limited opportunity may affect quantity (output ), however gender differences wouldn't affect quality research.

, there are significant differences, men have greater opportunities, and women face constraints.But this is happening naturally, not forcedly by the laws, right?
I would wish, but unfortunately it is never been happened in our previous history. One major reason is that, women as a mother cannot concentrate fully on their research work, due to look after their kids. In such scenarios they are struggling to make their own kids as good researchers. I think they sacrificing a lot and even inexpressible for their families. They are just Castles of tolerance to their families and supreme love to their kids, consequently some of them sacrifices or retard their research progress. However., they are going very well and responsible in other areas of human development and all other areas of arts and sciences.

I don't think there's a gender difference in scientific research and development.
This is about the competence of a person, whether a woman or a man.
I don't think so, both men and women can share in developing science equally as far as they work hard.
I don't really see any significant difference, especially when it comes to intellect, outcome, research findings, among others.
But I do think that pregnancy and birth may have some impact on the frequency young women of childbearing age participate in research. But the impact is negligible.

In my university, the Rector and all of the vice-rectors are men. The Dean and all the vice Dean of my faculty are also men. Most of the organizers in my university are men. There is a reality that was not good for me....
The important thing is that people do their job well and fulfill the requirements of the job. This is what will make him a good researcher. It's not gender.

Gender's fundamentals are different.
1. The woman will always follow the safest path whilst the male do danger
She knew where to go and plan for it, but the man makes the road as he goes
2. The woman has an intended result in their heads but a man searching for it
Then she tries to prove it whilst men discover it. (the outcome some time a very novel thing for both)
3. The woman aggressiveness is very high in failures whilst man patiently search for options
however this is not a gospel truth always, but generally and some situation I found the vice versa of the above too.

a. had been working under 2 ladies and 3 males (different times)
b. work with - 3 ladies and 8 males (different times)
c. supervised - 20 ladies and 10 males (different times)
From my experience with both male and female researchers, including research students, I will tell you that men devote more time to research than women.
Women have more determination to access information than men. Especially if you merged with the topic you are working on
I do not think that gender is important and effective for research and academic efficiency, there are quite successful women around me, but in the academic environment, the female academician, as in all other public spheres may have led us to believe that men are more successful. In my experience women are more organized, respect methodology and focused on target.
In my observation, in my country there are no rules that distinguish opportunities for research in women and men. Because there are fewer female researchers than male researchers, it seems that female researchers have fewer opportunities than men.

I do not believe that there is an existing difference in terms of scientific productivity. However, we may discuss this question by considering the role of culture. Maybe there is a difference between German and Chinese women researhers, or Turkish and Indian men. Because culture has an influence on lifestyles and various social duties...

This is a Gender-related question of the measure of both sexes.
There are many types of researches that one Nazuruddin Sinaga has not specified. It's ok. My answer is that as follows
- On knowledge-wise both are equally competent
- Men can spend more time on research than women have limitations due to family commitments
- Pay parity difference is existing in some countries for both men and women.
- Let you check the statistics that men have contributed more than women. It doesn't mean that men are talented but because of an opportunity offered them to do involve research.
- If it is a measurement that you have to check their knowledge potentials and academic credentials of achievements.
- Comparatively speaking, men have greater opportunities than women.
- Gender-sensitive issues are coming nowadays that I can say that both sex equally important in involving research endeavors.
