The amount of solar energy emitted to the earth is very large. Are there other ways to take solar energy other than through photo-cells and thermal?

As we know, the heat received from the Sun and the radiant light emitted from the Sun are represent the Solar energy. So, I think that solar radiation can be used in thermal energy systems or for electricity generation field.
Also, most of the renewable energy sources available on the surface of the earth are due to solar radiation in addition to secondary energy sources, such as wind and wave energy.
