I could not find many articles that describe type c silica supports in sub-2 um or core-shell technology. What is the reason?
I've been using silica hydride (DH column) since 5 years and I'm very happy from its performance however, there is no sub 2um or core shell particles.
At this time there are not sub 2 micron particles but they are available in 2.2 micron particle size. Much easier to work with and fewer problems than the sub 2 micron particles and have nearly the same performance
I am wondering if it is possible to use pillar array columns for separations other than in the reversed-phase mode? I have found a paper explaining the difficulty of coating the pillar surface...
