Are there any protocols for inducing immune tolerance to immunogenic protein in mice?

I am interested in immune tolerance. Are there any experimental protocols for incuding immune tolerance to an immunogenic protein? Thanks for your help!

There are a number of papers describing immune tolerance induction by expressing the antigen of choice from the liver using AAV vectors. For example you can see Finn...Arruda, Blood 2010 and Markusic...Herzog, EMBO Mol Med 2013.
