Dear scholars, since I am doing 'death studies' with my friend, we were discussing about some situations that people might not find their beloved family members' remains so that they have to do a funeral without bodies to memorize them. In some huge disasters, such as hurricane, tsunami, earthquake, or terrorist (eg. September 11 happened in the US ) etc., the rest may encounter the problem of no family members' body being found. The rest may be comforted by different religious rituals. However, if the funeral is without the dead body, funeral directors may not know how to continue the series of rituals. Therefore, I would like to know if any scholar knows the key words to search this kind of academic research, or any article related to this issue? Please recommend to me. Thank you very much.
Funeral is our ultimate journey & with our arrival date & period of our funeral is certain as the same is not in our hand being a part of our destiny . With the funeral our body turns into ashes & individually it is the end of our chapter of our life.
With this with the cremation of our body , our body takes the resulting fruits of our life positive & negative along with our final journey where with the funeral our SOUL get separated from our body & remaining for our journey of our next life where we have to pass our journey also with our certain fruits of our life.
This is the continuing process of our life which every human beings have to pass the phase .

You'll want to add "grief" to your list. As well as language related to complicated bereavement or complicated grief and ambiguous loss.
An excellent specialized book, if you can find it, is Treatment of Complicated Mourning by Therese A. Rando, Research Press (February 1, 1993)
A good contemporary text that treats complicated grief and related topics is Grief and Bereavement in Contemporary Society: Bridging Research and Practice (Series in Death, Dying, and Bereavement) 1st Edition
