I know that for some transcription factors, binding to their target sequence can turn genes on or off, but for NFkB, I have only seen examples where it turns gene expression on (for example, after stimulation of monocytes with a TLR agonist, NFkB leads to increased pro-inflammatory cytokine production).

Does anyone know of any examples where NFkB binding turns gene expression off?
