We use quite a lot of trypsin in our protocols to digest large amounts of proteins into peptides. I was wondering if there are any efficient trypsin recycling systems that would save on the amount of enzyme used to digest these proteins ?
Try CIMac trypsin chromatographic column (IMER). It is commercial product, enabling protein digestion inminutes down to picomol range. It can be used on-line in chromatographic system or offline. With appropriate usage you can do at least hundred digestions without losing activity. You can read more in the publication attached.
