The combined effects of the developed country targets would lead, according to our analysis, to only 8 to 14% reduction in their emissions by 2020 compared with 1990. Clearly, this falls short of the 25 to 40% reduction that, according to the IPCC, developed countries must achieve to put emissions on a pathway that would prevent temperatures from rising by more than 2°C. So, more ambitious action is needed. so we ask when and in which year the miracle created?
No, no developed or developing country today has done everything that can and should be done to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. The declarations made at the UN climate summit COP26, which took place during the first two weeks of November 2021 in Glasgow, Scotland are too soft, too diplomatic, have too long deadlines for achieving zero emissions, are described as typical blah, blah, blah.

Not at all. The developed countries are signatories to many protocols and conventions but not strictly honouring it. Most of the developed countries have been violating the agreements on the emissions of greenhouse gasses simply to favour their economy. They prefer or give preference to their economic gains than the environmental consequences.
